Privacy and data use

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026. This policy applies to Trading Hub, an independent website offering browser-based trading calculators and educational explanations. It explains what information may be processed when you visit the site, what happens to values entered into calculators, and what changes if advertising or analytics are enabled. The policy must be kept consistent with the services actually deployed.

1. Who operates this website

The legal name of the person or business operating this website must be added before advertising or any processing that requires publisher identification is enabled. Trading Hub is a website brand and should not be understood as a registered company unless the operator has separately registered it. The operator is responsible for deciding why and how personal information is processed, subject to applicable law. A real, monitored privacy-request email address must be configured and displayed here before advertising is enabled. Do not publish this policy as complete until that address is active.

2. Information entered into calculators

The calculators in this release process the values you enter in your browser to produce the requested calculation. The application is not designed to transmit calculator inputs to a Trading Hub account or server, and this release does not provide user accounts, a trading journal, saved profiles, broker login connections, payment processing or trade execution. Calculator values are not intentionally stored by Trading Hub. Your browser, device, extensions, network provider or security software may independently process information. Do not enter passwords, broker credentials, full account numbers or other sensitive information.

3. Technical information and hosting logs

When a page is requested, the website host, content delivery network, DNS provider and security services may process technical data such as IP address, requested page, request time, browser and device information, referring page and security events. These records may be used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and protect the service. The exact providers, locations, data fields and retention periods depend on the services selected by the operator. The operator must identify the actual providers and review their current privacy and retention documentation before launch.

4. Cookies, local storage and analytics

The supplied source release has analytics disabled and does not include an active advertising tag or Google AdSense publisher ID. The operator must not enable analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies until this policy and any required consent controls accurately describe them. If analytics are later added, this section must identify the analytics provider, purposes, data categories, retention and available controls. Browser settings may also allow you to manage or delete cookies and local storage, although blocking essential technologies may affect site operation.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

Trading Hub may apply to use Google AdSense to support free access to the calculators. No Google advertising code is active in this source release. If AdSense is approved and enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, web beacons or similar technologies to serve, measure, limit frequency of and personalize advertisements, subject to user choices, Google policies and applicable law. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use information about visits to this and other websites to provide advertising services. Read how Google uses information on partner sites at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and how Google advertising works at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Users can review Google ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ and industry opt-out resources at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/. These controls may not opt a user out of all advertising. Before enabling AdSense, the operator must confirm the final wording against the actual Google products, ad technology providers and settings used.

6. Consent for visitors in certain regions

Privacy and cookie rules vary by location. When serving personalized ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google requires publishers to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The operator must configure a suitable certified CMP, publish the required disclosures, pass user choices to Google and provide a way to change or withdraw consent where required. Other countries may impose separate notice, consent, access, deletion or opt-out requirements. A privacy policy alone does not replace a required consent interface.

7. How information is used and shared

Trading Hub does not sell calculator inputs and this release has no feature that sends those inputs to a broker. Technical information may be processed by hosting, CDN, DNS, security, analytics or advertising providers actually selected by the operator. Those providers process information under their own terms and, where applicable, data-processing arrangements. Information may be processed in countries other than the visitor’s country. The operator must update this policy if the providers or purposes change.

8. Retention and security

Calculator values are not intentionally saved by this application. Technical logs may be retained by infrastructure providers for the periods set by their services and configuration. The operator uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small static website, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If the website later adds accounts, forms, saved calculations, comments or payments, the retention and security disclosures must be revised before those features are released.

9. Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or information about personal data, or to object to or opt out of certain processing. You may also manage cookies through browser settings and advertising preferences through the relevant provider. A real, monitored privacy-request email address must be configured and displayed here before advertising is enabled. Do not publish this policy as complete until that address is active. The operator should respond within the time required by applicable law. Requests concerning records held directly by a hosting or advertising provider may also need to be made to that provider.

10. Children

Trading Hub is a general-purpose trading calculation website and is not designed for children. It does not knowingly request personal information from children. If the operator becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where consent or deletion is required, the operator should take the steps required by applicable law.

11. Third-party websites and policy changes

The website may link to third-party resources for reference. Those websites have their own privacy policies and are not controlled by Trading Hub. This policy may be updated when services, providers, laws or website features change. The current version and its last-updated date should remain available on this page. Material changes should be clearly communicated where required.

12. Operator details and publication checks

The legal name of the person or business operating this website must be added before advertising or any processing that requires publisher identification is enabled. A real, monitored privacy-request email address must be configured and displayed here before advertising is enabled. Do not publish this policy as complete until that address is active. The operator must also confirm the actual hosting and security providers, the production domain, and the effective publication date. Do not leave this policy inconsistent with the live website. No Contact Us page is required for this project, but a working privacy email and accurate publisher identity should be easy to find, including from the About or Privacy page.
